"How can you explain something that you can't even understand yourself?"

This weekend, the big movies being released are: The Lucky One, Think Like A Man and Chimpanzee.

Chimpanzee is this year's Disney Nature documentary. It is about Oscar, a 3 year old chimpanzee that gets seperated from his family and adopted by a full-grown male. As they have done the past few years, Disney is releasing this film for Earth Day and part of opening weekend proceeds will be donated to conservation efforts. For every ticket purchased Friday through Sunday, 20 cents will go to the Jane Goodall Institute.

In Think Like A Man, four men discover that their ladies have been using a new relationship advice book by Steve Harvey against them. Also using the book, they decide to work together to teach these women a lesson of their own. Along with Harvey, the movie stars Jerry Ferrara, Michael Ealy, Meagan Good, Garielle Union, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson and Romany Malco.

The Lucky One is about a marine who, while serving three tours in Iraq, finds the photograph of a woman and believes that she has become his good luck charm. When he returns home, he goes to North Carolina to find her and thank her. This movie stars Zac Efron, Taylor Schilling, Blythe Danner, Riley Thomas Stewart, Jay Ferguson and Adam LeFevre.

Of these three films, Chimpanzee is getting the best reviews. I saw a screening of The Lucky One on Tuesday and will post my review in the next few days. However, unless you really love these Nicholas Sparks, sappy movies, you can probably skip this one in theaters. I would recommend catching up on other movies that have come out in previous weeks.

In limited release this weekend is: To The Arctic, Darling Companion, The Moth Diaries, Jesus Henry Christ, Marley, Goodbye First Love and Fightville.
