Pellitt: Oh yeah, we gotta trim some of the fat around here

Kurt: Trim the...what do you mean by "trim the fat"?
Pellitt: I want you to fire the fat people

In theaters this weekend are Zookeeper and Horrible Bosses.

Kevin James stars as the Zookeeper in this comedy about a group of zoo animals who decide to help their keeper find romance. The animals break their code of silence to give him tips on how to win a particular ladies' heart so that he does not leave the zoo in search of a more prestigious job. This movie also stars Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb, Ken Jeong, Donnie Wahlberg, Joe Rogan and Nicholas Turturro.

"What makes her life more valuable than yours?"

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I found a full-time job! I have been unemployed for a year and a half, so a paycheck will be very nice. The bad news is, I will have less time for movie and TV watching and less time for writing. If someone would like to start paying me to do this blog (or another similar type of job) I would be more than happy to oblige, but until then, I will do my best to keep on schedule with my updates.

I did not end up seeing any movies in the theater this past weekend. Mr. Popper's Penguins did not really appeal to me and Green Lantern did not get great reviews. I will probably see the latter eventually, maybe sometime this week. I did, however, get a chance to watch The Ledge on Video OnDemand....twice!
